About B2F Heating and Air

B2F Heating and Air started with a simple idea: residential comfort through every season. Every visit gets the same care, whether it’s a quick capacitor swap or a full system install for a family in the High Desert. We focus on finding the actual cause of a problem instead of rushing through a temporary fix.

Our goal is straightforward: deliver honest residential HVAC services at a fair price and explain the work before it begins. Every technician trains on current equipment and safe service practices. As HVAC equipment changes, we keep building our knowledge, so we can work confidently on newer systems and existing equipment. You will know what we found, what needs attention, and what the work will cost before you decide how to proceed.

AC Installation, Maintenance & Repair

When your AC blows warm air, runs nonstop, or can’t cool certain rooms, something is holding it back. As an air conditioning contractor, we handle air conditioning repair and installation, including failed capacitors, compressor problems, refrigerant leaks, and frozen coils. For new systems, we run a load calculation.

Heating Installation, Maintenance & Repair

A heater that won’t start or only puts out lukewarm air can make a cold High Desert night miserable. We handle heating repair and furnace installation. We also install heat pumps if you want heating and cooling from one system. To track down a problem, our technicians check ignitors, thermostats, blower motors, and heat exchangers.

HVAC Maintenance & Repair

Many HVAC problems start small. A dirty filter, weak airflow, or a loose electrical connection is easy to miss. Our preventive HVAC maintenance visits look at your heating and cooling as one system. We check airflow, inspect electrical parts, test the thermostat, and clean what we can reach.

Call Now (760) 694-5355

Furnace Services

A furnace that short cycles, blows cold air, makes odd noises, or won’t start needs more than a quick reset. We repair and replace gas and electric furnaces. That includes parts like flame sensors, gas valves, heating elements, and sequencers. On gas furnaces, we also check the venting and safety controls.

Call Now (760) 694-5355

Boiler Services

Boilers are less common in Southern California than forced-air heating. But if you have one, you still need reliable service when it stops working. If your boiler loses pressure, leaks, makes odd noises, or stops heating your radiators, our team can find the cause. We service gas, electric, and combi boilers, including circulator pumps.

Call Now (760) 694-5355

Ductless Mini Split

Garage conversions, additions, and bonus rooms often stay too hot or too cold. The reason is usually simple: your ductwork doesn’t reach them well. A ductless mini split gives that space its own heating and cooling without new ductwork.

Call Now (760) 694-5355

Air Duct Installation & Repair

Dusty rooms, weak airflow, and one bedroom that never feels right can all point to damaged or leaking ducts. Our ductwork repair and sealing work fixes disconnected runs, crushed flex duct, damaged sections, and rodent damage.

Call Now (760) 694-5355

Heater Services

Wall heaters and electric heaters work well for smaller homes, additions, and single rooms. But they can still break down and leave you without heat. A pilot light that won’t stay lit, a bad thermocouple, or a tripping breaker can all stop a heater from working.

Why Choose B2F Heating and Air?

Having someone work inside your home requires confidence in the company you call. You want heating and cooling contractors who arrive prepared, explain the problem in plain language, and give you enough information to make a sound decision. That is how we approach residential HVAC services. Here is what homeowners can expect from B2F Heating and Air.

Fast Same-Day Visits

Many repair calls get same-day service when you contact us early. When an AC stops working during a hot afternoon or a heating problem becomes urgent, we work to get your system checked without an unnecessary wait.

Upfront, Honest Pricing

We explain the recommended work and price before repairs begin. For new installations, free estimates give you a chance to review your options and understand the investment before making a decision.

Local Climate Know-How

Victorville and the surrounding High Desert put HVAC equipment through some of the toughest California climate conditions: intense summer heat, dust, wind, and cold winter nights.

Permits Done Right

HVAC replacements can involve California energy and permitting requirements. When a project needs permits or inspections, we handle building code compliance as part of the installation, so the work moves forward properly.

Multi-Brand System Knowledge

Your system does not have to be one we originally installed. Our team works with a range of residential heating and cooling equipment, including central air systems, furnaces, and ductless mini splits.

Straight Repair Advice

Not every HVAC problem calls for a replacement. When a repair is a reasonable choice, we explain that option. Our recommendations weigh the system's age, condition, repair needs, and overall performance.

Common HVAC Questions Answered

Where can I find the best HVAC contractor in California?

When searching for an HVAC company near me, check the contractor's license through the California Contractors State License Board. Look for the C-20 classification for warm-air heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning work. Reviews tell you more when they describe specific repairs or installations rather than only a star rating. Also ask who will perform the work and whether the company holds EPA certification for refrigerant handling.

How much does AC repair cost in Victorville?

The cost depends on the failed component, the system's age and condition, and whether refrigerant work is involved. A capacitor or contactor replacement is generally a smaller repair than a failed compressor or coil. Older systems using R-22 can also cost more to service, because production of new R-22 for existing systems has ended in the United States. A proper diagnosis is the best way to decide whether repair or replacement makes more sense.

How often should my HVAC system be serviced?

Many manufacturers recommend professional maintenance at least once a year. Homeowners often schedule AC service in spring and heating service in fall, so each system gets a check before its heavier-use season. Heat pumps and ductless systems that both heat and cool may benefit from more frequent attention. In dusty desert areas, filters may also need changing more often, sometimes every 30 to 60 days depending on the home, filter type, pets, and indoor conditions.

Should I repair or replace my old AC?

Age, repair history, system condition, and the size of the repair all matter. Central AC systems can last many years with proper maintenance, but heavy desert use adds stress on equipment. If an older unit needs a major component such as a compressor or coil, compare the repair cost with a replacement system. New equipment carries a manufacturer warranty and must meet current efficiency requirements, so a replacement may offer better performance and lower operating costs over time.

Are ductless mini-splits worth it in desert homes?

They can be a practical option for rooms that need separate temperature control, especially additions, garages, converted spaces, and areas that existing ductwork struggles to reach. Modern inverter-driven mini splits provide both cooling and heating, and you can control each zone separately. Because the system does not rely on traditional ductwork, it also avoids losses from poorly sealed or damaged ducts.

What should I do if I smell gas?

Leave the house immediately and avoid anything that could create a spark, including electrical switches or flames. Do not use your phone inside the building. Once you are safely outside, contact your gas utility or 911. In Victorville, Adelanto, and Barstow, this is generally Southwest Gas, while SoCalGas generally serves Fontana. After the utility confirms the home is safe, an HVAC technician can inspect the furnace, gas valve, and related connections before you use the equipment again.
